Masonry walls can be a single wall or multi-wythe.
A wythe refers to the standard width of a wall equal to the thickness and uniformity of the individual sections.
Masonry is typically constructed on site, mixed with mortar, and then cured.
Masonry can form structural elements such as bearing walls, columns, support sections and/or the final exterior form.
Larger than brick units, the time required for laying the units is typically less than that for brick.
These units can be solid or hollow.
The cores provide continuous vertical openings that can be reinforced.

Working with Sean Fennell was a pleasure.
We had discovered some serious problems with the integrity of our house's roof structure.
Sean meticulously mapped out the problem and proposed a solution.
We had another structural engineer look at it (ie, a second opinion) who agreed fully with Sean's assessment.
Sean created the engineering designs and we subsequently hired him to do the contracting work.
Sean was fully engaged at all times: he came to the house to look at the ongoing work and, where necessary, came up with creative and solid solutions to address problems that arose.
