Mark is a native Arizonan, and received his education from Arizona State University.
After completing his BSE in Mechanical Engineering in 1995, he accepted a position with Arizona Public Service Company (APS) in Phoenix.
During his time at APS, he served in many different areas of the IT Infrastructure team, eventually becoming the Infrastructure Engineering Group Manager, having responsibility for leading all technology areas of the IT Infrastructure.
This included designing and implementing the physical security infrastructure needed to secure the company's facilities.
