Thomsen Engineering was founded in 1959 by Hans C. Thomsen and was incorporated in 1962. The firm provides engineering design and surveying for private clients and public agencies. Initially, most clients were residential developers requiring the full design of subdivisions; including new street, sewer and storm drain plans, water systems, mapping, construction surveying and boundary monumentation.
Later, services were expanded to provide assistance to the various local cities such as La Habra, Whittier, Santa Fe Springs, City of Commerce, Industry, Bell and the County of Los Angeles. We have provided engineering services for the development of over 3000 acres of Industrial, Commercial and Residential sites including the Redevelopment of The Carrier Site, Bethlehem Steel, U.S. Steel, Ford Motors, Chrysler Motors and Cheli Airforce Base.
New Developments within the City of Ontario include The Baxter Healthcare Facilities, Haven Gateway Centre and Ontario Gateway West. Over the past 59years, Thomsen Engineering, Inc. has provided Civil Engineering and Land Surveying services for the various Cities and Counties in which we have completed industrial, residential or commercial projects.
