Services
We are a general engineering contractor based in West Sacramento.
Our jobs range from commercial, residential, public works, private, agricultural, and alternative energy projects.
NGEC combines talent, experience and technology with an old-fashioned work ethic and commitment to safety to deliver best in class results for our customers, on time and on budget.
These are the principles that Joe Nichelini started with in 1991 when he established the company, and they hold true today.
Safety is our #1 priority.
We provide environmental clean-ups, including excavation and hauling.
We are trained and on top of all compliance and regulatory issues to ensure there are no mistakes.
Many of our crew members have been through 40+ hours of hazardous materials training.
If you have liquid in one place that needs to get to another place, we can help.
From the planning and engineering of reservoirs, pump stations, pipelines and the pylons that hold them up, we can move resources from one place to another efficiently.
Operations: Nichelini performed the excavation and off-haul of approximately 60,000 Cubic Yards of floodplain materials from environmentally sensitive area on the American River within Discovery Park.
Installation of instream woody material structures (IWM) within the mitigation zone.
These instream woody material structures are designed to support fish habitat and other aquatic organisms.
The excavated materials were then hauled to an offsite location where it was placed and compacted for use as a seepage berm levee.
Do you remember the days of eyeballing a 2 to 1 grade with a bulldozer?
We do, but when we look at the incredible GPS technology we're using now, it seems like a distant memory.
Many years ago we decided to invest in GPS technology before many of our competitors.
Sure, it's expensive, but the quality of engineering, efficiency and planning we're able to pass on to our customers makes it worth every penny.
Between our hand-held rovers and the GPS heavy machine control systems, our guys can unload 10 tons of dirt directly on top of that "X" with accuracy and precision.
