AAHE is an Affiliate Chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and the Arkansas Hospital Association. For over 50 years, AAHE has led the health care engineering profession in numerous ways. AAHE's commitment is to its membership - we work hard to deliver program topics, often presented by nationally recognized speakers, that are high quality and relevant to the health care industry.

Services
In 1982, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) began awarding the following annual Chapter Recognition Awards: Educational Award, Membership Award and Membership Levels.
Then in 1992, ASHE added several new awards: APEX for Professional Excellence, Advocacy, Quarterly Newsletter, and Special Achievement (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) for chapters receiving at least three total awards.
In 2007, ASHE changed its award system to give each chapter only one designation, based on a complex qualification criteria.

Brian Morgan is the Facility Director with CHI St. Vincent Hospitals and strives to build teamwork in the Facilities and Environmental Services.
Brian knows that work in the Healthcare market can be the most personal rewarding endeavor that anyone could get into.
Though there are challenges, there are rewards that become more and more obvious as a team provides the environment of care for the most vulnerable.
Brian came to CHI from working in the Life Safety field where he spent considerable time in the Healthcare as Government Contract facilities.
Brian knows that work in the Healthcare market can be the most personal rewarding endeavor that anyone could get into.
