In 1919 Edward West Sr. had a vision to build a company that could design and manufacture special and custom machines. He understood that dedicated and experienced people would be needed to take advantage of the latest technology available for machine design and machine manufacturing. His goal was to exceed the customer's requirements and expectations and provide unparalleled quality in both product and service.
He believed that integrity and the utmost regard for ethical business practices must be the cornerstone of any business endeavor. These fundamentals continue to define our company a century and several West family generations later. West Engineering now occupies a modern 62,000 square foot facility housing the latest advancements in special machine design and machine manufacturing technology.
If your requirements are special machine parts, fabrication, machine sub assemblies, manufacturing process tooling, prototypes or complete turnkey machines, West Engineering is ready and able to service your needs.

Services
West Engineering Company, Inc., provides machine shop and associated engineering services to meet needs for prototype, custom and production quantities of parts, sub assemblies, or complete "turnkey" machinery.
Unlike most machine shops, the company can produce individual metal parts from smaller than a dime to those in excess of 30 feet long and weighing as much as 20 tons.
Metals and materials machined range from basic steel to exotic alloys and special needs composites.
Manufacturing sectors served include industrial, chemical processing, mining, heavy construction, agricultural equipment and commercial manufacturing.

Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) capabilities allow us to apply the latest techniques in computer technology to drafting, design, production, and quality control.
We are continually upgrading and updating these systems to allow us to work more efficiently which translates into reduced costs to our customers.
We know we must excel and improve our processes and systems continually if we are to remain a leader in our field.

West has a two-fold approach to fabrication which enables us to service our customers who have general welding requirements, as well as those who have needs centered on pressure vessel requirements.
Custom weldments from carbon, stainless, aluminum, high temperature nickel and titanium alloys for special machines and various applications are all handled in the West facility.
Pressure vessel requirements to ASME Code Section VIII, jacketed piping to B31.3 or pressure vessels to the European TUV Code are all part of the service West offers.

West will manufacture and build new, special and custom machinery and will also remanufacture, rebuild and modify your existing machinery and equipment.
Our knowledgeable engineers, skilled craftsmen and broad range of manufacturing equipment allow us to offer "one source responsibility".
We can take your ideas, designs or drawings, perform the fabrication and welding operations, machine and test component parts, mechanically assemble those parts, perform pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical work and then test run and inspect so the equipment will be ready for installation in your plant.
