Leo Hess started Full Blast Engineering over 20 years ago, and he has more than 30 years of experience working on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. From his humble shop, right here in Sioux Falls, he services Harleys of every year and model. Whether you are looking for an oil change or need an engine overhaul, Full Blast Engineering can service your ride.

Leo specializes in repairing, building, and modifying Harley-Davidsons, too. Because he doesn't have the high overhead of bigger shops, you get a better return on your dollar! Over 25 years ago, Leo was fascinated with modifying motorcycles, ultimately riding one that earned the world dry lake speed record. While speed may not be what your passion, history shows that Leo Hess knows his way around a Harley.

He understands that regular inspections and maintenance will extend the life of your motorcycle and eliminate costly repairs in the future. If your bike is running as it should be, you'll be spending more time out on the open road. We all got into Harleys one way or another and we all experience the ride a little differently.
Services
Look, we all got into bikes one way or another.
For Leo Hess, they answered his call for the need to speed.
In '93, he achieved the world dry lake speed record on a custom-modified, alcohol-fueled bike that he engineered himself.
In '97, Leo's high-performance, 2000cc Harley hit 218 MPH, earning him a lifetime membership in the coveted El Mirage and ECTA 200-MPH Clubs.
Impressive stats, but to Leo, what got you into bikes isn't nearly as important as what keeps you in-and what keeps him in is his love of a well-tuned Harley.
Leo Hess, at Full Blast Engineering, knows Harleys.
He specializes in, and works exclusively on, Harley-Davidson motorcycles of every year and model.
Leo earned his stripes in the greasy interior of a working-man's garage, producing the finest, fastest machines of their time.
But Leo says that only means he knows his way around both a shop and a Harley.
He performs regular inspections and maintenance, which can extend the life of your motorcycle and reduce sudden-and sometimes very expensive-breakdowns, while increasing the amount of time you actually spend riding.
Leo Hess, at Full Blast Engineering, applies a lot of skill and experience to Harley repairs and often makes bikes run better than new.
He prides himself in being able to offer a full range of engine work, from service to a total overhaul, right here in Sioux Falls.
His overhead is low, his prices right, and his work phenomenal.
Nothing ruins a day on the road like the fear of being left on the side of it.
Engine rebuilding is not a task best left to the unskilled.
If you are considering having some engine work done on your Harley or have questions about some issues you have noticed, stop in or make a quick call to Full Blast Engineering.
