A successful client relationship is the core element and goal of our firm. We aim to satisfy client needs through careful understanding of their objectives and project requirements.
Services
We are proud to have an amazing staff with the professional experience to provide the best services to our clients.
GSA Environmental Award 2001: The United States Courthouse Annex in Denver, CO.
Successfully incorporated over 120 innovative sustainable features that reduced the building's overall electrical demand, maximized natural daylighting to building occupants, employed displacement ventilation technology along with evaporative cooling, and met the criteria for a 'Gold' rating with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
Our staff has developed an extensive understanding of design team management and coordination as a result of our experiences as a lead (prime) consultant, sub-consultant, design-build consultant, and peer review consultant.
We complement our in-house expertise with specialized consulting in order to provide the most up-to-date information on present and developing technologies.
In the past, electrical design was addressed as individual components and subsystems to be optimized separately.
We stress a total project approach when designing electrical systems so that all aspects of the building design are considered together.
We believe it is necessary for everyone involved in the use, operation, design, and construction of the facility to fully understand the issues and concerns of all other parties.
The design is evaluated for safety, cost, efficiency, overall environmental impact, creativity, and future flexibility, as well as how the occupants will be affected.
We work with the client to make the best use of light to create the desired atmosphere, mood, and function while addressing issues of visibility, safety, reliability, and cost.
Our approach requires collaboration with the client to select the appropriate scheme from a more complex, network-based lighting control solution.
The lighting control systems incorporate communications between various inputs and outputs in the system and can include simple occupancy sensors, timeclocks, and photocells that independently control groups of lights to provide the right amount of light where and when it is needed.
For code compliance, safety and security, and the ability for the client to be more intimately integrated with their facility, low voltage systems have become increasingly more desired and prominent in facility design.
We welcome the challenge these emerging systems present and work closely with the client to design their desired system.
We complement our in-house expertise with specialized consulting and manufacturing teams in order to provide the most up-to-date information on these developing technologies.
