Hom-Pisano Engineering, Inc. is a structural engineering firm specializing in the design of residential, commercial and non-building specialty structures. We are a bi-coastal firm with offices located in San Francisco, California and Westfield, Massachusetts. As structural engineers we analyze and design buildings and other structures to withstand various types of loadings, or forces, including gravity loading due to people and furniture, as well as lateral loading due to wind and earthquakes.
We work with owners, developers, architects, contractors and other design and construction professionals in a collaborative environment to produce functionally complete and aesthetically pleasing buildings. We ensure that the structures we design are sound and safe and can be built in a manner that is practicable for the builder, cost-effective for the owner and mindful of resource consumption and environmental impact.
